No. IC isn’t a dating app. It’s an intention-based, hyper-local community app that helps individuals and travelers share real, meaningful experiences with a filtered crowd built around shared plans and communities, not dating profiles or romantic matching.

Open the app and sign up with email, Google, or Apple. If you use email, verify your inbox before continuing. Then choose your intention and confirm your city on the map.

After sign up you pick what brings you here from 25 intentions, then search for your city and confirm it on the map. Once that is done, you land on the home screen with Map, List, and Groups.

Yes. Open the menu from the home screen and tap Change Intention. Your discovery filters update to match the new choice.

Location is how IC shows nearby users and communities. Without it, the map and list cannot match you with people around you. You can manage location permissions in your device settings.

Find an active community on the map or in Groups. Open it and tap Request to join. The organizer reviews your request. Once accepted, you can enter group chat.

Each community allows up to 6 members including the organizer. When the limit is reached, new requests cannot be accepted until someone leaves.

Most communities close automatically after 48 hours. If the creator chose flexible dates, they can extend the plan once from Group Info after the first 48 hours.

Tap Start Community on the home screen. The wizard walks you through intention, current location, destination, dates, title, meetup points, and a final review before you publish.

When you create a community, you add one or more public meeting points for the plan. Members use these to know where to meet in person.

Nearby users typically appear within about 2 km. Active communities show within about 5 km of your confirmed location.

Map shows users and communities on a map with pins. List shows nearby people in a scrollable list with distance in km or m. Both respect your intention filter.

It removes the intention filter so you can browse everyone nearby. Select a specific intention to narrow results to people with the same plan.

Locals lets residents share favourite spots with the community. Attractions shows stories and highlights from the city you are in.

Always meet in public places. Use the meetup points set in the community plan. Trust your instincts and leave if something feels off.

Use the in app report option when you see inappropriate behaviour. Our team reviews reports and may suspend accounts that break the community guidelines.

No. Your data is used for community matching, chat, notifications, and safety reporting. We do not sell your personal data.

Location is used for matching while you are active in the app. Update your city when you travel so discovery stays accurate for where you actually are.

On the login screen tap Forgot Password, enter your email, and follow the reset link we send you. Then return to the app and sign in with the new password.

After email sign up, open the verification message and tap the link. Return to the app and tap Continue on the verification screen.

You can update your first name, last name, country, intention, and location from the Profile tab. Groups you created appear on your profile as well.
